If you live in London or the South East, then this is the place to talk about the travel chaos an inch of sleet can bring.

As if we will be lucky enough to get an inch of sleet!

Hello all to this new season. Shall we talk about the exciting weather we are not getting?

Yay we're back for business again, although nothing to cheer about yet. Have been glued to the model thread since early November but nothing of interest for us southerners, only had one night of frost so far. Hope everyones good!

Hi all, looking forward to a decent run post Christmas, do not see much to get excited about until then but maybe some wind next week - I am keeping my fingers crossed

Howdy all :)

Got some wet and windy weather coming in the next hour or 2.

Dare I say it though but maybe this winter it won't be about the snow this winter but the storms?

For all those in Scotland, North of England and anywhere else stay safe i mean that.....

Here in London our office closed at 12pm due to a 10mph gust of wind, a sleet flake and 1 min worth of rain:-)......no sign of anything wintry, stormy or even interesting on the horizon from the Models!

Am waiting for the squall line to hit here in south london, looks like it is due any minute - it's probably the most exciting weather we are going to get for a while ;)

Live in an elevated position here so quite windy anyway, but now it's shaking the House and the Rain has started.

I have to go out in ten mins or so..............................MY hair will no doubt look dreadful. lol

Squall line has just hit here. Pretty violent weather for this area. Probably the stormiest looking scene outside that I've seen for a few years to be honest.

Calmer all ready.

Woo back again for another winter! Nice to start the regional page of to a sarcy start with MR OON! Very windy outside and that squall line looks to get here in about half an hour, better than nothing i guess. Snow later on in the winter for down here i reckon.

Gale-Force winds at times here (50mph at times) and squally rain but things have calmed down now after a wild day!

Rain petered out here in Beckers, but there are a few decent gusts still.

Feels a lot colder already after this mornings relatively mild conditions.
