Well, I can tell you that the MetO got this forecast totally wrong for Croydon. They said there would be NO snow and it would be dry. With my Yamkin persuasion, Head of highways authorised gritters to go out due to light snowfall.

Yamkin, it was a bit of dandruff.

I was in Croydon half an hour ago and there was no snow anywhere!

As I say, it's rain in Witham. Really disappointed. It doesn't even feel that cold.

Looking at the charts this morning and the precip charts it looks like a battleground come Sunday afternoon and lasting into Monday.. BUT this is a huge way off yet and wouldn't count on it..We can only hope that Thurs/Fri throws something up..BBC weather have -2 - -3 in the south Saturday night with rain..Not going to happen LOL, would be snow..But it's all over the place and we need to keep our fingers crossed for the surprises !

All eyes on the weekend in my opinion!!!

Heavier bursts in snow here, still light though and settling no where but my coat. Weird that the radar doesn't show anything over me at the moment though

Dew point in Colchester is above freezing. It's below in Upminster though, so it might fall as snow as it heads south

light snow grains here in cliffe, north kent...settleing on cars/grass - not on roads/pavements. Feels very cold, no breeze or anything.

if i am reading the radar correct (noob alert!) it seems that there is nothing heading of the coast towards east kent for the timebeing
