[Long haul to mild]

Hi, temps here (essex, herts boarder) have risen to 1.6c. Should we be worried - if it keep's rising it could be sleet arriving not snow.

This morning temps were -7.5 thats a rise of 9.1c just in the last 8hrs.

I hope not we need some snow in our area this winter. Maybe someone can put my mind at rest. Still okay for snow?

Snow is arriving at night, upper air temps and dew points will be conducive to snow, so everything is set up fine......

Temp here is -1c and now found my Dew Point thingy and that's -2c. So perfect. We now have constant drizzling ice falling. Not pleasant.

Report from stamford - east midlands/east anglia - just. Gritters out 30 mins ago, even on my minor road. I think it is coming sooner than dusk. temp -1c

-2 in ipswich looking at the radar appox about 2 hours before the fun starts very fine snizzle here at the moment just went out its bone chilling cold it the first part is near northamton

Hi Tim, my temp here in Oulton is now at -1.6, with fine snow/grapple still falling, at this rate the snow forcast for later will catch up to the stuff we have over us now,ground and all surfaces now frozen again after a very slight thaw earlier, still a nice covering of snow from this morning with a dusting of icing snow on ths paths now..

My estimate is 4pm light snow will arrive to the far west of the region and by 7 it will be across all of this region. Excited!

Temp here is 0.3c and has been hovering about that for the last 2 hours. Hope it starts to drop soon. Dewpoint -2.9c at the moment. I'm on such tenterhook right now.

St Ives Update - Temp 0.1 and falling. Dewpoint -6.29 and falling. Snowband about 50 miles West.
