Thats how it was here, took about 5-10 minutes from that point for a light dusting everywhere...

sure is! I love the weekends in Brighton but not sure the timing is great this time round - watching the sleet drive in from the sea is a little frustrating knowing at home with a bit of altitude I'd be sharpening the crampons ready for the freeze up tomorrow. Mind you, the pier here is much better thanthe one at home..

Anyone Shoreham, Worthing way? What's happening where you are? Hoping the second wave will bring back the snow.

Started snowing around 7 when I left canary wharf area and hasn't stopped. Home now and got around 2cm on wheelie bin lid.

Snuggled up with roaring fire and a warm cup of tea.

5 mins down the road from Crystal Palace/Syd and I can confirm approaching 1cm of lying snow, currently snowing moderate intensity but small flakes.

How is the snow falling in Billingshurst? Heavily or dandruff esque?

Im ahead of you then, about 2cm here now, in the wind though and nice covering verywhere else. I bet the snow looks fantastic at the coast in leigh though, love snow over the sea..reminds me of my days working on cruise ships in Alaska...beautiful!! Enjoy

Have faith Paul - thats how it started here, and it was like that for a good 1 and a half hours - however, it does start to get heavier - considering it started to snow here in Bexleyheath 2.5 hours ago, we only have a small covering - 0.5cm MAX

I'd love it if we had our own micro climate! We are unfortunately only just off the top of Cockshot Hill, not anything higher, but occasionally it seems to help . Much settling in Reigate?
