One thing I don't understand - latest national BBC forecast updated at 23:12. Still shows snow around some parts of the W country at 5am?? Would this have been recorded before all the changes or something?

Edit: Nevermind, using the actual weather map on there seems more realistic.

I just saw the 12.30 forecast and was very surprised. I think they do keep using the same one throughout the evening though. I really cannot see it lasting much longer (going by the Met Office radar.

There is a band now moving in this direction from Peterborough... Could this be what's due to hit us in a few hours?... Personally I would have thought it would have fizzled out by then?...
