This going to bed thing really isn't working! quite large flakes now.

Is it building up at all where you are Sabrina?... I've just been outside again and it doesn't seem to be getting any deeper... Barely enough to cover the ground!

Yeah - sod the neighbours - I've waited all night for this haha.

Hey smartie - feel for you down there in weston. Guess what Ian F was saying about the Wet bulb freeze levels around here was pretty on the mark.

No, it isn't really building up much at all, It really is just a very light dusting.

Darn. Unfortunately, I think this is going to turn out to be a non-event for us... Again! Got more last weekend!

I'll be very surprised if we've got 2cm by morning, let alone 5-10!... :aggressive:

One thing I don't understand - latest national BBC forecast updated at 23:12. Still shows snow around some parts of the W country at 5am?? Would this have been recorded before all the changes or something? :unknw:

Edit: Nevermind, using the actual weather map on there seems more realistic.

I just saw the 12.30 forecast and was very surprised. I think they do keep using the same one throughout the evening though. I really cannot see it lasting much longer (going by the Met Office radar.

Well I'm off for the night - a dusting outside now on cars, melted again on pavements and the most intense stuff for the night has passed through I think and heading off to Bristol. Good luck for the rest of you.

big flakes and heavy snow again :)

Yep, same here again now!

There is a band now moving in this direction from Peterborough... Could this be what's due to hit us in a few hours?... Personally I would have thought it would have fizzled out by then?...
