I'm surrounded by all the intense stuff where areas are reporting snow and it's only just turned a bit sleety here! I'm right in the middle of the lighter ppn within almost a circle of intense ppn on the radar. Come on! :lol:

weather station nearby says light snow but looks like heavy sleet!

Whereabouts in Somerset are you, Alex?

It started off as rain here then turned to frozen ice pellets (hat tip to Kumquat) then very quickly turned to snow. I don't know that it'll last all that long though, looking at the Met Office radar.
