Ian F just on - cr#p with a capital C - it's more of an eastern event (of our region) and it clears away much quicker than at first forecast - graphics sh#te!

Now where's that Azores High?

Hey ho.... let's hope the SW can have someting more widespread before Spring,,,,, seems such a let down especially after the excitement last night....

Looking at the graphics think the further NE of the region "might" get 5cm, then less further SW in the region

When is the main rain band meant to start heading west? Getting worried its not going to :p

Our area will be right on the edge - it's a flop event! Oh for those NAE charts from last night!

Worst scenario is pretty much confirmed. As you said earlier, we're going to get the "dregs" and watch the good stuff go straight past us.

Oh well, it made today a little bit more interesting, hopefully the east of our region get plastered.

It's weird, all I want now is Spring to hurry up! :sorry:

The person on points west who does the weather for the west of the region some cornwall, devon, somerset, dorset

All the snow is going to east of the country!

Oh - is he a presenter or a met man?

Anyway can we believe any of them? Ian F was really bullish last night on his twitter account. Bring on Spring!

Im still shocked that the models can be so wrong even at 0h?

Was this not meant to be an early hours event ? Looking at the Meto Radar, that nice stuff up around Northampton, could find its way here. Maybe being a bit optimistic but dont get too downhearted as you never know..

That's not Points West, it's Spotlight...

Anyway, it looks like I might just miss rain and go straight to sleet/snow. It's so close I can smell it ;-)

I think personally that alot of the time snow events are more of a wait and see game because forecasting for snow seems to be very difficult even at such a short time period before the event.

Based on current forecasts I don't think there will be much snow here as we are at the very extreme southern side of Wiltshire. But again wait and see I guess.
