Still snowing here in South Norwood, and more to come for London area from the north spilling down across Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire, maybe another hours worth at least.

Still snowing in Wallington, should go to bed but I'm just enjoying watching it falling :clapping:

Do you realise how pathetic this sounds?! They said we would have snow showers and we have done. Moaning cause we have actually had 2cm's of snow?! Wow, get a grip.

2cm is enough to cause problems in London!

West London have 6cm.

Who's moaning? I'm simply stating that the forecasts were a mess - we could all tell looking at the radar what was happening and yet they claimed for London to see a few flakes only!

You sound very moody and always with very negative comments - other members have noticed to I see!

Find a new hobby or perhaps reach for some happy pills

its snowing again - more dusting for the earlier dusting! Settled on the grass now but not road

Hmm, not too shabby, settling nicely away from pavements :) helps that tempeatures are 0.7C

a lovely orange sky here- however the moon is shining through- Cracking-, a pity here that we never really got into the heavy band- however considering it was looking a non event at 2pm I will take that-

Just hope the temp drops below freezing soon to preserve the cover

s

I'm amaze how much snow we have had here still coming down, about 3.5 inches

Where were you last winter when the 20cm of light fluffy snow came down in Brighton ? Maybe its snowing a lot harder over in Mile Oak than here, still a dusting I would say, roads and pavements not covered

Did you not witness the great 20cm+ event dec 2nd 2010? or the dec 2009 streamer? they were heavier than this and the feb 2009 event here.

Just started getting heavier here. About 6 on the SM Scale I reckon. More on the way according to the latest radar!

Still moderate snow falling here... Road still says no!

Hello GP, I'm in Gerrards Cross tonight with work and it is a truly beautiful scene, about 2/3cm settled everywhere including coating the trees. Still snowing lightly here. How much on the ground in Reigate?

Thanks

AS

Yes been similar here John. Benefited from the angle as it pulled its way to the south west eventually.

A good 4-5 cms here tonight. Very decent for this area and settling on top of 14cm we got last sturday (some of which has melted). Temperature has been falling away here over the last hour down to -0.3.
