Been settling on the roads here in the last 45 mins..Really good covering now!

Snow intensifying a bit again. Radar also shows things picking up in the eastern half of London even whilst the whole system moves away.

Not much more to come down the SE, all pushing west now

I have seen you posting all day and saying that the se wont get nothing why all the doom and gloom? Are you Brown in disguise?

As i was stating earlier that band of light precip to the east moving west has the potential to give us another few hours of mod - heavy snow once it moves past central london west.

Back home in Lee SE12, now. Came through Bromley about 9.30/10, eased off initially but then heavier pulse came through and was starting to settle more widely except roads and some pavements. Has eased off here in last half hour, giving just over 1 cm, where it settled.

Any news from Biggin Hill, would expect a couple of inches at least up there.

Regards,

Tom.

Just started again, light to mod!

We have had more than four hours of steady snow here in Upminster Bridge now, about a pre decimal inch of the stuff on the roofs and hedges although just an icing on the side roads. It is currently -0.2C but humidity high at 94 per cent. Still an occasional pulse of something heavier.

Snow getting heavier. Bigger, more fluffy flakes now. Funnily enough, PPN seem to be building in SE London and to a lesser extent in NE London.

Well were wrapping up for the night- I wonder if we will get a quick drop off in temps-

Hoping to retain good snowcover tomorrow-

I am guessing its around 0.3-0.5c here- Pavements & road have that 'drying' look-

Hope to get under freezing soon
