The West Midlands will get no more than 5-10mm. The East Mids may be up to 15mm. However its East Anglia and the SE that will see the most as the rain becomes slow moving. The rain will quite swiftly move through here so we actually wont get an awful lot and with still a mainly dry outlook, the rain will of course help but do very little in the long term. However, a very nice dose of rain in the East. If anything, here will come off worst in the sense that here will not get the amounts the East will have yet we are in an area of high risk drought!

The latest GFS run still seems keen for some back-edge snow for places with that Low going to the East and flusing down colder air from the North-West.

I feel there may be a good chance for most places to see something a little wintry, although the Dewpoints do look a little marginal on the latest GFS - the 0*C Dewpoints do not reach the land of the Midlands until the wet stuff has passed. But, if the GFS has got this correct, then places should start seeing their sleet, or snow shields breaking around Sunday lunch time.

But if it ends up being 20*C tomorrow with sunshine all day instead, then that's okay. :p Though I must admit, we could do with an explosion of heavy rain to soak the land

A very wintry flavour to the rain here.....more sleet than rain....am just hoping it might change completely over to snow before it clears from the west

West Malvern, so got a bit of altitude... oh why couldn't we have had this snow a couple of weeks ago! Temperature is plummeting, now at 1.80C

Temp has fallen to 0.9oC but the sky is lightening and so is the snow, although still falling steadily.

Easing off now. Not a chance that it'll settle. I'm only at 80m asl still impressive.

Still coming down steadily here, but at 0.8oC it's not going to stick. Pity, had this been a colder day it might have been the best snowfall in Malvern this winter.

Would competly agree normally but seeing me and my wife are full of cold, then I couldn't make the most of a Spring like Sunday anyway! So a bit of falling snow to watch out of the window is fine for today!

Missed the heavy rain as usual here, badly in need of a good downpour to!

Rain turned to sleet from 8am - 10am before fizzling out, the Wrekin got a covering of snow though.

Might squeeze a snow shower through Cheshire Gap tonight?? rather marginal though.

Some showers coming in from the north-west already. Had some small hail here about an hour ago.

A cold afternoon out there! Quite a shock to the system after all the mild weather of late. Apart from Wednesday, the outlook is dry again.
