I am also watching almost Tornado Producing Supercells on the Streams atm.

No contest btw, USA All the time.

Lightning 5 - 6 times every minute here in Sudbury......... little rainfall.

Arrgh, you're only about an hour or so away!

It has the exact same feeling here as the other night with that storm. Same conditions aswell. 1020mb, 12°c, 69% Humidity (rising), a North Easterly at around 13mph aswell as an almost exact same overnight forecast. Possibly a second thunderstorm brewing?

About to sign off and head for bed. The one crossing the Channel and heading for Colchester has eased a little but no telling what it'll do when it hits land. We've had about 2 hours of heavy rain so I fear many rivers across Essex may burst their banks soon.

I can't believe how much these storms are lighting up the sky at the moment, and I am in London.... woooah!!

AM soooooooooooooooooooo glad I didnt go to sleep!!! I can see that little cell over N London - lighting up like a nutter!!!

Some great flashes, in such a short area of the sky! Awesome! Orange, blue, pink, white flashes....hahaha!! Sat here, balcony door wide opening, nice warm breeze blowing over my feet, with a Cb firework display going off about 20 miles away! Bliss!!!!

Far more active a cell than I was anticipating tonight....waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more active!!!!!!

Storm just fired up in Kent, heading towards Rochester, then onto London...if it can hold itself together...welcome to the party guys :D I have to go to work at 6am....blow it....I'm doing an all nighter!

Destination unknown, these storms seem to be getting better as they hit the UK!!! Wow what a year 2012 is becoming... and guess what, it's not just April Shower, it's May in 8 minutes!!
