I was looking East from my location, but South East just seen 10 or so flashes in past few minutes.

The big one was to our North West over Chelmsford way (But all gone a bit quiet now) Seeing Distant flashes now off to the East but only very faint.

Could well be the Dunkirk Cell which is a bit of a beast atm

Thank you! I was wanting to circle the echoes in your red zone and arrow them in ths direction but having technical difficulties (translate: can't work out how to do it on the daughters ipad)

This is what I can see from the latest radar grabs...That lot in the red has been building up and up and up...heading for KENT!

The green area..Stuff over France is dieing out....

My personal opinion And don't forget out "prime time" is about 12-3 time when all of us will be sleeping more like... or... or one last one ...

Very bright flash just now, two distinct areas of lightning. The cell over braintree and the cell over chelmsford which is more frequently discharging,

Wind is howling here now. Had a flash about 5 miles South of here, that should be heading to Chelmsford if it builds further. Rain is pounding against the windows.

Looks like another cell now starting to form off the coast of Mersea Island over the last 5 minutes.....will probably be a decent cell over Braintree way over the next 30-40 minutes.

Very strange how all of these cells are "spawning" just off the Suffolk/Essex coast. Mother nature is laying eggs!
