According to my Met app, this area could be in for a right ol soaking about 4am. There is a dirty great big orange 'blob' right over us about that time. ;D

Yes that is a large amount of rainfall..And this is the band of rain that will bring tonight's rain..It's quite slow moving but will be out the way by around 8am tomorrow to leave a fine day (we hope) lol! If you roll back the loop to its peping up a bit as it moves east

Yeah just looked, are you surprised those weather warnings haven't been extended?

A little..But 20-30mm..Typically should not cause "massive" problems...But who knows...weather changes all the time..One thing I have noticed is I just opened the back door and the rain drops are huge! like thunderstorm rain XD

Same here, I guess the areas with the warnings have already had huge amounts so any extra warrant a warning.

Yes hoping for a nice day once the rain goes, just need to dodge those showers in the afternoon!

Have a good one! :)

Still raining here but lighter than it had been, been up since 3am and got quite heavy at times.

Still hopefully clearing up later and into next week, looking forward to it being dry for a change!

14mm of rain overnight, still spitting now...there was mention maybe of some sorms triggered later if the sun warms things up nicely?

That is very early! And I thought I was a lark! Mind you, I'm also an owl; sleep is just compromised.

Went for a long walk yesterday, to help with shifting the 8 or so pounds I put on while on holidayohmy.png and managed to get sunburnt!

The weather here is cloudy and breezy, but (I think) now dry.

Some very heavy rain overnight here but it cleared quite early on and apart from it still being a bit breezy it's not a bad morning, I've managed to get out for quite a long walk (just had to dodge the mud and some rather large puddles) it's warm, bright and a much better day than I was expecting good.gif

Just had a VERY heavy downpour here with some thunder and one or two flashes of lightning. :) Did get some on camcorder but not much as rain was pouring in through open door. T still grumbling in distance. So *thumbs up* to the clever devils who forecast that. ;)
