It looks like the showers are forming in a line along the South coast. Meaning if you get one storm, you'll likely get several.

I'm in the same dry slot, but lightning seems to be indicated just off Southend though? I've learned not to be 100% reliant on this mind you!

Heavy Shower and even some small hail as well, although not much thunder a loud rumble towards the end of the shower, this is when unsettled weather in summer is fun.

Can confirm lightning, heard thunder in Leigh from cell in the estaury but not a drop for us!

That line of showers is approaching, wind has picked up, and I think I may have heard a distant rumble of thunder.

I think the latest thoughts are heavy rain passing through on Thurs night, with heavy showers in our area on Friday. I don't think the really large rainfall totals that were being spoken of a couple of days ago apply now here.
