Found it "High resolution WRF (init GFS 18Z 20120710)

suggests multi-cells will become organised along the M4 corridor and London area late this afternoon. Vertical vorticity field near cloud base (925 hPa) suggests the principal area for spin up will be along an organised, ~linear gust front."

Hope he is right :)

Fantastic storm passing through here - lots of lovely loud thunder :) -headed towards tunbridge/east grinstead I think and growing in strength.

storms on the radar to the north of me...are doing just that ..passing to the north of me! I can see them too from my window..passing! I reckon theyd be about 10 miles or less north..I even heard a rumble!! ...heard and seen but not lived through.

well as they pass me I must say they are organising themselves nicely and seem to look as though they pack a punch...not for Newbury though today.

Indeed. Best chance for us is that view over South London on our commute home as the train heads between Kidbrooke and Eltham acute.gif

Good T&L here in Westerham, looks to be heading towards Sevenoaks. There was no sign of it on raintoday until about 10 minutes before it landed. More please good.gif
