Yes definately, would expect some really decent Storm chances from Dorset / Hants up through towards Bucks, Bed, Suffolk and from West Sussex through to kent and Essex.

If I was to draw a line from from Southampton to Norwich, anywhere east of this diagonal line has great chances tomorrow.

Morning all

Mostly grey, small patches of blue. Potential in the air (but another under 9s cricket match looks like being washed out this evening)

Chris Fawkes on Radio 4 weather at 7:58 this morning said staying unsettled for the rest of this month. Given we are only at the 11th that's some call, but I suppose reflects the rut we seem to be in.. At least when we get to North Pembrokeshire later this month the weather is not likely to be as dramatically different to home as usual. That's the best silver lining I can find!

Oh God it's gone from been sunny and pleasant to default grey again, which will stick til around 7pm when the sun may come out lazy.gif I'm really getting fed up with this. All we ever get is pathetic light showers or grey skies and drizzle these days.nonono.gif And it's got cold.

Is Friday still looking bad? I thought so looking at JPs charts but local weather just said Friday should be the driest day of the week! Lol not what the weather warnings say!

just not liking the look of all this rain.

Oh this ruddy rain!!!!!

If you look at the HiRLAM charts we do get some overnight, but they have the worst of Fridays stuff to our South with the French:

Seems the further east you are the better atm, lovely sunny skies with a few passing cumulus here in SE Essex, I am expecting the grey soon though from your reports as it does not seem far away!

Still sunny spells here, near Chelmsford. Lots of ragged cumulus though.

Still Looking very good for Parts of Sussex or Kent today, Look out for that Structure, could be another "S" Event today, like I said last night with 40knts of Deep Layer Shear this is more than adequate for Supercell Structures.

GFS certainly had Tony's tornado/higher shear possibility for around here in the late afternoon charts. Still not 100% sure about TStorms here, but ever hopeful!

Those 2 cells exploded quite nicely, 1 near Heathrow and the other near Harlow!

Good Start!

Clouding over here at London Southbank. Looks like I have picked a good day to be in the office that actually has a window!
