Hasn't rained here at all yet. I've seen very dark clouds go either side but nothing here so far.

Gone dark a few miles to my west towards Liverpool city centre area.. can still hear the rumbles of thunder but cant see any lightning yet. Sun is now breaking through here now..

Looking for something coming up the M5 into our area, where a sunny Birmingham will be waiting

With my big camera back at the Canon hospital I`ll be turning Brumcam on to timelapse mode... so no veiw will be available for the next couple of hoursunknw.gif

Now going dark both to my east and west.. I'm stuck in the middle in an avenue of sun! - I can hear distant thunder every minute or so to my west..

Where i live I can look out towards the Severn Crossings and Chepstow which is about 7 miles from here and there is a huge dark stormy cloud. Sferics being detected within it to. All part of that cell moving up the Severn Estuary. Faint rumbles being heard to.

Anyone in Clevedon or Portishead seeing anything? Seems to be a good place right now to view this cell travelling up!

there has been lightning and thunder, was down yacht club earlier working on boat and heard some biggrin.png

Black cloud to me west.

Seems liek today is the best day ive had in years for storm chances, yet i feel its gonna be very much a "western" and "eastern" thing. Giving the middle of the country little.

Storm Zone still up here, nothing - despite some elevated lightning the other night about 15 miles to the east, ive not heard thunder since that famous day in June. If it misses us today as it looks like doing so far, it'l be typical west midlands look. East, north, south and west - but nothing here. Before people moan, yes we had that amazing day in June, but members in the north east have 15+ very good thunderstorms this season.
