Sorry, large photo but it was pretty far away. It was much closer to the ground than this...

Still nothing here! Think I may have gone in the wrong direction today, should of gone further west rather than east.

Never mind, see if i can salvage something in the next few hours, otherwise it's rinse and repeat for tomorrow!

Plenty of cells to my west over the Severn though!

Yes, a lot of sferics, not sure where they are but most are quite distant.

Just driven from Shrewsbury to Borth through several building cells. Now just south of borth and radio on MW is crackling loads. On my mobile but anyone with a radar able to update me on anything down here (abberwrstyth area) - and yes I know that's a bad bit of spelling!!

Well that cell passed too far west from me, still saw some good strikes though, without having to get wet!

Think that might be it for a while here, can see blue sky and anvil tops to my south.

Bugger all here yet everyone north of us seems to have had something. I bet the Severn is funnelling everything away from here. :(

I think its more likely because of the center of the low moving westwards. Tomorrow might be better as it heads back in from the SW and going by models seems to become more slack :)

Not sure about that - seems to be a line of developing showers coming up from the south west - they look tame to begin with but develop quite fast - worth keeping an eye on me thinks

edit - another rumble of thunder on cue
