Looking at the radar and what is to the south, you could see more today !

I'm hoping the sun currently here will be the trigger for something in the next hour

Have had a couple of rumbles but so far most of the action is a little too far west this time. Still, its been the best chance in a long time...

More opportunity perhaps from showers still developing to the SW, although they seem to be fading out before reaching Bristol.

Tomorrow certainly looks to be the better day at the moment but hopefully those showers to the South keep going for today

Great news to see some of the long standing members of the NSC finally getting a storm. I did think a few of you would be out today.

Unfortunately nothing happening around where i am just outside Saddleworth. Not sure whether or not to stay here or head further west. It is still only 2pm though and potential here looks to be a little later on.

Just had another loud rolling rumble of thunder to my south.. seems to be getting closer, still no lightning seen..

THUNDER! HALLELUJAH! Not quite a storm but it's a start.

Yer.. heavy shower is passing over and the sun is trying to break through again - no more rumbles of thunder heard for a few moments now from that storm..

Rain starting to ease off now and it's sunny!!
