Sleet & periodic snow here in Bedminster, so there must be much more snow bias up at the likes of Dundry & Bristol Airport etc....

Snowing in Warminster too now, was torrential rain an hour ago. Have watched it slowly change to sleet and wet snow.

Going by reports from elsewhere it may settle here soon.

Quite a widespread event considering it was only meant to ne a slim 10% chance for cotswolds area...

Steady snow but it is getting lighter as it looks like clearing from here soon. Luckily it was covered at 9am so I can class it as my first laying snow day by official meto standards

No snow in Portsmouth but we did get one lightning strike and a rumble of thunder at just after 8am, currently it is bright but the tail end of the rain is approaching (currently over the Isle Of Wight).

If anything, the radar is pepping up right now and there is very little movement Eastwards. Just as well, as I am currnetly sitting at 4.4c and would dearly love to see the Temperatures fall, to at least allow for some transient snow at higher elevation.

More intriguingly though, the snowfall has occurred in uppers between roughly -2c and -4c, so we will all need to bear that in mind when looking to additional snowfalls in the future. I'm not really sure why that is to be the case either, just shows that its never straightforward in this forecasting game.

Has to be said, the netweather ppn type radar has been atrocious this season. When we had snow in the NE a week ago it was way off too. Maybe it needs some work?

I just decided to go for a little drive as it wasnt that bad here just as you get past wick and go towards lansdown way the scene is amazing il post a pic

We have around 3 inches laying now although slight thaw in place with temperature at 0.5c

light snow here currently, in between bands of ppn....The next band is pushing eastwards (sleet/snow in Chippenham) so should be here shortly
