a quick look at saturday

PPVE89.gif?31415

rain overnight friday and continueing saturday morning

PPVG89.gif?31415

saturday lunchtime shows front still over the south east

expect showers around that time

PPVI89.gif?31415

sunday 00 shows the front has cleared the south east

now the tricky bit is working out how long it will take that front

on the 12 hr chart to clear

certainly cleared by midnight. hopefully clears by early evening

gonna go down to radar this to be exact

Thanks John for the above and I'm pleased to note that as the brief period of rain arrived, the fog has lifted to a wee bit of mist. good.gif

Yes, if that chart came off, the bonfire party should be okay. I just hope no secondary waves form on it, so radar watching it may be.

It's actually thickening here, but not a problem level yet.

You can see the similarity though can't you. blum.gif I also have a liking for caravans too, many a time I've stayed in one. As for the comment about Steve, he appreciates the photographic quality of the poodle image I'm sure. tease.gif Best make no comment on anything else for now, apart from the weather. air_kiss.gif

How was the school run my poodle floaty one?

Damn GFS 12z is slow in running out.

Been working outside all day today

Seemed a lot colder than it actually was in the drizzle and slight breeze

Numb feet

Starting to feel a bit more like winter at least

So far my interpretation of the GFS 12z in accordance with MetO forecasts based on your region would be as follows.

Saturday rain, some heavy clearing through later on.

Sunday, a generally cool, fresh feeling sunny day.

Monday, horribly mild and wet later in the day.

*still it's rolling, rolling, rolling.

Tuesday (20th Movember), another day with a stiff breeze blowing and associated rainfall, mild but cooling down as the day wears on.

Wednesday looks very COMPLICATED and unfeasible to my eyes with four surface lows within a few hundred miles of the UK. This surely has to be where FI begins and I would admit that I don't have the foggiest what will happen from there on in. rofl.gif

Moreover, from the 21st onward, does the global pattern suggest further evidence of Northern Blocking or will it go pear shaped? All will be revealed in the next half hour. drinks.gif

I don't like judging any impending weather pattern on simply one run but I felt like a bit of Friday Afternoon fun for a change and the GFS 12z has been showing me of late, that it has what it takes in determining some sort of trend. Besides, I do like chasing the model outputs. k022.gif

Here we go, GFS rain charts for tomorrow:

24_4.gif

30_4.gif

The worst doesn't quite seem to get to us during daylight, but there is consistent rain through the day by the looks of things.

First the poodle (dog) acute.gif and now the cat is out of the bag, you know what that means. search.gif

As if confirmed by Coast's post above, IT WILL NOW BE RAINING "CATS AND DOGS" THIS WEEKEND. cray.gif

Might be a whole lot of thisa092.gif , this weekend then.
