Sleet looks like the most likely option this morning, perhaps some snow in heavier bursts over higher ground but currently no real support for any snow today at least not from this first little band

Road is like a sheet of ice!!!! Very very dangerous! As when it snows and ice they don't grit down my road as it is so tiny lol!

Just had a quick read of the Model Output Discussion, as usual I'm still none the wiser about what the weather will be like next week. A bit milder in Lowestoft this morning, no frost on the car, which is a bonus.

Back to steady rain now

Rain turned to sleet in the last hour, with quie a few snowflakes mixed in at 8am, was heavy precip. Now back to lighter precip and we have sleet. Cold out there! Temp- 2.4c.

I hate sleet. It really is a pointless form of precipitation.
