I don't tend to go into the model thread much, as I find it irritating

I should stick to this kind of model watching!!

Absolutely! It's interesting times though and great to watch any evolution, we just need to keep a calm head.

We also must not tell anyone what the weather maybe doing in 2 weeks time... Let's not jinx it!

Morning all. Overcast and mild here. Currently 9.3c.

I can feel the excitement bubbling under the surface in this thread. I'm at a gentle simmer of excitement myself and trying not to get too carried away. :D

 I think we can get away with it in here, but you could get a bad go if you start letting it slip to friends and family at the moment...

Can't stand these benign mild cloudy high conditions, looking forward to a pattern change, strong signs for blocking developing to the N or NE, though a way to go to see whether the blocking will sit favourably to get cold in place.

Just noticed that the cherry tree over the road has come into blossom fool.gif

Nice to hear of a bit of sun coming through. Grey and mild here but hopefully we will get some clearing skies, yesterday the cloud broke up at 4pmsearch.gif

Got a few funny looks this morning unloading logs and coal from the car. 'Is it going to get cold, then?' asked a passer-by. 'Shouldn't think so' I replied.

Even though I say so myself it is this level of self-control that we all need if we are not to jinx things and, MK, I am very disappointed in you....biggrin.png

My word for today is:

tantalizing

present participle of tan·ta·lize (Verb)

Verb:

  • Torment or tease (someone) with the sight or promise of something unobtainable.
  • Excite the senses or desires of (someone).
