Latest NAE looks much better from an IMBY (aylesbury, bucks) perspective:

Precipitation is intensified and more likely to be snow, based on that.

good news from the 18z nae is that dp's stay zero or below right down to the south of our region. accumulated precip 5 to 13mm could well stick !!

On the 12z, it was positive in the afternoon corresponding with the heaviest precip.

Good run from the NAE for EA, we have a decent chance of seeing snow the whole way through for some parts in the northern section.

Its very much a nowcast type situation, but a slight upgrade on the 18z runs.

Very nowcasty tomorrow. Could see rain-snow at first (if latest BBC forecast is to be believed) and only a few cms or 7-10cms with heavy snow.

The further N you are, the better (for our region, anyway).
