Intensified PPN for tommorow and a westward

shift of the warm sector would be perfect from the 18Z! Cant see that happening though. Haaha.

looks like Kent are going to do well tonight unexpectedly.

They have a nice little streamer setting up down there and a met office warning now .

In the last few hours the wind direction here in Peterborough has gone from a NNW to a ESE?

Wasn't expecting that so soon.

Ipswich and Colchester should be experiencing a flake? Or is it the buzz word of the moment "anaprop" ;-)

Yes nothing here Radar would show otherwise. Misses wants me to watch film so she beats the dreded 'anaprop'

In my eyes this is not Anaprop that we are seeing, anaprop is exactly as it says in this description reflectivity that shows up on radar that isn't precip, anaprop doesn't move with the wind, it stays still, this is precip on the radar, its just evaporating before it gets to the ground in the very dry air.

ANAPROP - ANomAlous PROPagation - when radar microwaves are refraction by things like inversions down to the ground, and are then reflected back to the dish - as far as the radar is concerned, something is there, and so it displays it as a return, but it is not precipitation !

I'm west of you and nothing is happening, despite it looking as if it is intensifying. The radar is playing tricks on us tonight :(
