I don't think I'd even try to guess at this stage. It's very uncertain what will happen when it begins to interact with the north sea and the front that passed last night.

I didn't mean specifically — sorry. What I meant was would this front inching its way east meet another inching its way west and sort of get tangled up? I don't understand what wrap around means.

Lovely big flakes settling on the grass :)

Great news, and in Epping ;-)

Looks like we should do quite well today and tonight.

That warm sector should stay to the south and west of us in Essex :-)

sorry.gifsorry.gif Still not a solitary flake in Saarfend since this sorry episode started!

Temp and Dewpoint going to be close when it comes through at 1.5c and -0.6c and rising rapidly, not helped by a southerly breeze off the estaury, bog off low and turn those surface winds around!

Starting to kick off now.

For members to the E of me at first it will be just light, small flakes, Do not mistake this for sleet.

This really makes all those hrs following the models worth it.

Very light snow over here in Cambourne (Just outside of Cambridge), been like it for about an hour now, not anywhere near heavy enough to really settle on top of the load we had in the night. Hopefully it picks up a bit more.

Expecting a BT engineer to come and install Infinity today too, knowing my luck they'll use this 1/2 cm of snow as a reason why they cant come out!

Proper snow has now arrived - yay!

Same here, really coming down now, struggling to settle on some of the wet surfaces, but temps should drop a little soon, and the intensity may increase a little more, so should all settle soon I reckon.

Now you know why they called it Infinity. You have to wait for one to get it.rofl.gif

This reminds me of the classic 80 s style frontal snows it used to build up slowly starting with small dry flakes getting heavier and heavier

Light snow flurries here in Haverhill Suffolk.

East Anglians look well placed for a good fall today.

As Dave (TEITS) said in an earlier post, the wrap around tonight will be an added bonus for those snow-lovers out therebiggrin.png .

Here is a radar grab from 12:45 and another chart showing temperatures at 12:30.

Nothing here so far.

Edit. Light snizzle now.
