Looks like he is using an 8 inch ruler upside down and has two inches really. Nice advertising for someones business on the ruler though

Time for an apology I think. Unless the timelapse is stage managed!

Bit of tight shot would have been nice to have a wider shot possibly with some scenery, not that I disbelieve of course!

That about sums it up. 6 inches of snow ???? I dont think so.

And i wouldn't ever phone an 0870 number.

That is fantastic! Great vid too, I'm so, so glad that some areas of the UK have seen some of the elusive white stuff. Thanks for sharing this (and thanks to Paul too for dragging you over here)

To be fair, it looks quite believable. Consider that the guy has the highest elevation in Norfolk. (But I previously thought Norfolk was flat...)

Anyway, had he measured it on the path, it would be significantly less. Perhaps an inch or two. Have another look on the vid.

Edit: I see you are in here, stormbell. Can you measure it on the garden path, please? Thats where I would measure mine!

Great video

if this is right why is the edge of grass on path still showing if 6" fell then path would disappear

Hi stormbell

I have seen some webcams around your way. Hope you enjoy your snow.

Was only joking about your tapemeasure. (Being rude) :-)

for those doubting my damn ruler! 734074_10100525522021716_510789933_n.jpg

I don't know why some try and doubt the snow amounts reported!! One only has to play back the radar and they will be able to see that there would be a sweet spot, Thanks for the SSnoW photos!

Matthew Hugo â€@MattHugo81 has tweeted the following.........Impossible to summarise on twitter but the EC ENS from the 12z run are distinctly cold and blocked. The Atlantic could struggle to 'get in'.
