Look at the charts. It'd be for us just as much as the SW :)

I wouldnt like her, dont like ppl that prefer mild!!!!!! did they just spell her name with 3 N's?

Well I'm not in the NW region (only 7 miles outside) so I'd not seen her before but what an unenthusiastic monotone approach when compared with the excellent Ian F in the SW.

Think yourself lucky' we have to put up with it every day and then when she's off we have the even worst choice of Eno Equator or what the hell she's called.

Yes, i would love to see a foot of snow in Manchester City Centre and be a fly on the wall in the Studio and see Oxberry and Erouter's faces as they get snowed in for 3 days!

Well Oxberry and Eno may be off sick with work related stress and on the verge of nervous breakdowns if the next 5-7 days pan out the way the majority of the models are suggesting....snowy reload, after reload.

ECM raw data has updated.. (12z)

For Friday:

Manchester 5.8mm

Liverpool 10.3mm

Preston 7.4mm

Chester 14.3mm

Buxton 6.3mm

Grasmere 8.2mm

A very, very crude guide but confirms my general suspicions that the best snow will be in the west and south west of the region, but decent enough for all! :-)

Worrying totals if they come off. Dewpoints will be very low so not all of that would reach the ground. Would suggest more in the region of 5-7cm widely. Hope they're wrong.
