If the MetO have called this right then it's a non event for Lancs northwards. The next system due early next week looks like it could well take the same track, so a dry, grey and boring seven days for the North of the region could be very much on the cards.

But theres always the chance theyve got it wrong and it stays on track like yesterday

convection in irish sea pepping up again

Seems to be showing a more NE movement as well which I see as a good thing ATM.

think those in Blackpool should be keeping their eyes open, that precip looks to hit land in the next 20 mins or so

probably ages....it really is not worth taking any notice of those graphics on any site or weather app....they all use the same data..just update it late....if the models, the met office, the BBC are all saying no....then it doesnt really matter what apps or web sites say.....
