-1.4 here with -2.1c dew point... Pretty much confirmed an ice day here! smile.png

Great snow, about 9cm - can't wait to get out there and play in it tomorrow!

It's still snowing here, tbh it's never really stopped, nothing significant but definitely visible against the lamp posts. Looks like someting tasty is a happening in the Channel

That was my Chimaera, Love TVR's, had to sell her a few years back to fund the misses through Uni, hope to have another one next year

can someone answer my dumb question please why is the NE radar have the ppn moving in a different direction to the wind direction being shown on XCW(or can someone advise a better wind direction website) thanks in advance

Haha, my girlfriend gets fed up as I'm constantly sat on the forum reading and skipping to the radar every few minutes!

I think there are plenty of other halves who feel the same way. These forums have been like a second home for the last fortnight, hilarious and a little bit sad! Shows how much we all love those little white ice crystals that fall from the sky! smile.png

Thank goodness I'm on a late shift at the Beeb tomorrow biggrin.png

The very Northern part of Leigh you can have, about 7 miles NW Of Southend! There is a dusting, but my pavement outside is visible and only cracks are filled in on 85% of the path!

Wind is still a bit crazy here right on the Channel - I think if it had been calm we would have been on for an inch or more by now! Not bad considering it only started snowing at 5:30pm!

Hey your grit team did a good job on the roads today, but I'm very unhappy at how well you also cleared the pavements, I love walking on snow.

The professional approach by the management keeping all of the gritting teams informed around the clock paid off.

With more snow overnight into tomorrow and the big event on Sunday, it's going to be a action stations help.gifhelp.gif

Not forgetting more snow next week and the cold is going nowhere for now biggrin.png
