i live in strood and yes it allways seems to miss us , this is probably the most snow weve had in years

Yea and it's good stuff. Light and you might not easily see it from your window but when you go out in it all those tiny flakes hit you hard in the face :)

Heaviest snow we've seen so far today is falling right now in Western Brighton, about a 5/10 on the Mr Murr Richter scale.

I don't think we have got too much more to come, 4PM finish time IMO.looking at the radar , that would be 7 hours of snowfall on top of the 9 hours we had on Friday....really can't complain about that. !!

Great, stuck in the office now 'til 6, taking bets on said game. Then its home to possibly grumpy son and daughter, who are Gooners!

Got stuck in the office Friday until 10 o'clock due to Irish racing at Dundalk, that was delayed by 40 minutes!

I shall just smile and think of all that over-time!

Enjoy the game,

Cheers,

Tom

We've done far better here than I expected. Generally moderate snow for at least 3 hours.

This is better than last years snow and about on par with 2009. I don't think I'll quite beat 2010 for a very long time.

Guys the back edge is over Bognor up to basingstoke its EDGING slowley ENE at snails pace-

Ahead of it we have a column of heavy snow in these co-ordinates-

South western end- Brighton

Western end - Bracknell

Northern End - Luton ( & beyond)

South eastern End - Hastings

eastern End - Gravesend curving into South essex-

so if your in this band maybe another 2/3 hours- although thats for the eastern side- the western end another 1/2

A good spell today...

S

On Essex Suffolk border 15 miles from coast. Only 2cms or so, only light snow for last 30 mins. Not quite in whoohoo territory.

have done way better in this neck of the woods than i expected today, currently heaviest snow of the day for the past 30mins, just when it looked like it was dying out, doesnt look like it will last for much longer looking at the radar but who knows........

Heaviest snow of the day so far here. Wish the wind would switch to easterly now as huge amounts of snow from east.
