Temp just wouldn't drop all night here in Southend due to cloud cover, amazing fall however now with clear skies, from -0.7 to -3.6 in space of no more than an hour!!

Hoping the precipitation over NW france gets to us in the southeast?!!

Well who knows frankly?!

Morning all, a steady fall of light snow through the early evening yesterday but not enough to make any impact on the slush/snow that remains on the verges and grass. Hovering just around freezing at home but some dramatic and short drops to -5.0°C over a matter of metres in parts, especially around Lewes.

Going to be a day of radar watching I feel.

Looks like we're in a bit more snow for parts of the SE this evening.

-5.5C here now but got down to -9.1C whilst it stayed clear

Ok, results to 2nd half of draw.

If you didnt post a final depth I'm afraid you forfeit the match, if I've missed your post, If you post the original, I'll look at it again.

Winners underlined in bold. F/F = Match forfeited. Half/Time depth in brackets. Depths in cms.

Roll titles and cue music again. This time a snow video for the ladies but I'll turn the volume off as it spoils the scenery!

**All 6 members above progress through to the next round of matches, to replace some matches where both members forfeited**.

Will compile draw later today, for next round of snowfalls whistling.gif , or I could formulate the rest of the competition on a local league basis. Might bring in handicapping based on a members altitude. Would like to know your opinions.

Some very close matches above. Got to give a special mention to my home town, a storming 2nd half performance from all the Bromley teams. clapping.gif

Cheers,

Tom.

hi tom

2009 was brill

and was such a quick event but really memorable

think i got nearly a foot from that

your right about the time doing the charts but like you i find it fascinating

keep your eye on that low showing it will make a huge difference to our outlook

if it is modelled wrong

got to go and sleep now but things may surprise later

goodnight all

I measured 39cm on the garden table from that one. Live in Addiscombe at the time (Rymer Road)
