Just came back from Street.................2deg..............Snow!!!! Ian Ferguson said on Points west...no more Snow this week.

I may well see another snow day at this rate but I don't expect things to last for very long before turning back to rain. The significance at the moment seems to be where the SNOW is currently falling , there are favourable dewpoints. Watch this space.

Light snow flurries here in Radstock. Nothing of consequence. Temperature 1.9C and dewpoint -0.4C so still a bit of time yet before the pitter patter of tiny raindrops reach here.

It can snow upto 4c, depending on other factors like 850s, dew points, wbfl etc etc.

Its because the dew points are very low meaning the snowflakes reach all the way to the ground as the air is inherently dry still at the moment.

That's odd, maybe the precipitation is dragging down colder air??

It can snow upto 4c, depending on other factors like 850s, dew points, wbfl etc etc.

but for 4c is very rare for that to happen the conditions othere than the actual temp need to be 100% perfect

very unusal wimborne should be colder really
