Bucketing down here..this will push the level towards 6 inches if that dark blob on the radar scores a direct hit

Looking at Radar hope more of our region get some more snow today, especially areas missed out last week, Not just the Eastern and Northern regions of UK get snow

CAN report here in winscombe melt as stoped ,and we have persistant moderate snow .looks like a trough is pushing north and expanding .will be interesting if it continues to expand and become slow moving .EDIT now heavier plus wind picking up ,cheers all .drinks.gif

Temp and dew point have remained the same over past 12 hours currently 0.4c with dew point of 0.3c light sleety snow outside. Yesterdays snow/sleet event melted my undisturbed patch from Friday in my back garden, as I type snow getting thicker outside.

Impressive radar return with a very slow edging of the pink area Northwards:

Not far away from GFS forecast, without the Easterly extent:

Snowing here all morning but not settling, everything turning back into a muddy mush. Such a waste of good snowfall!

Snow is pretty heavy here...not too sure how much more can come down but the radar suggests a real downpour is heading this way. Any reports from the further south Lyme Regis/Honiton way as to how heavy this dark blob is?

Woke up this morning to find next doors van had slid 6ft down on to our driveway! luckily no other cars were in it's path.

Wasn't expecting the snow to start up again this much.

Moderate snow in Bristol, where did that come from? smile.png

I have just asked Fergie on twitter, whether that area of precipitation to south of Bristol is heading North?

Been pretty heavy here for over an hour. Massive flake approx 1-1.5", settling on the roads. You should be getting this a bit later

Well it looks like some parts to the east of Exeter are going to get a shed load of snow, if only it was more west right over us.

Still can't complain though seeing as the snow fairy has not liked Exeter one bit this winter so far....2 moderate snow falls of 2cm is the best we can expect for now....

Stay safe Easties!

Funny that we had heavy snow for a few hours in Bristol last night but have ended up with less than we started with! Most of the previously lying snow has now disappeared. A bit fed up with it all now tbh. Bring on the Summer!
