Could we see a blizzard? I hope so, but BBC say no

BBC get their forecasts and what they have to say from the MetO as we all know. The Channel Low is making progress a lot faster coupled with the convective moisture off the North Sea which is now pepping up further inland biggrin.png

Hi Jp. You mean a situation where we have an attack from almost opposite directions mate ? Alexisj9 raised a good point. These two air masses are set on a collision course, or so it looks on the radar ?!

That light ppn over Sussex def. intensfying over the last few radar grabs, any reports of snow down there!

Low at the moment just off the N.W. tip of France.

Can confirm it is now snowing in Brighton and beginning to settle, spent all night looking south, when I should have been looking North :-)

im intrigued with this

if you watch the radar the precip from the south explodes at it hits the

air from the north east of it

wanna see what happens next

line has certainly formed within London, se to nw

totally within the two flows there is a distinct possibility that this line will be the convergence and en explosion effect all the way down that line will be some crazy weather. Appart from all the dumps in the Channel and Northern France and Southern England

The freezing air is clearing the southern most fringes of the UK and so all precip will be into freezing air
