And that shows it spreading right along the south coast

Also, the convergence of the ppn off the North Sea has pepped up further inland and amalgamating with the Channel Low which is pushing more North at a much faster rate which is making radar watching incredible right now biggrin.png

Wow just woken up and checked radar.Look at that mass of snow in the channel, seems to be heading straight for the SE.

Was this forecast so early?

Perishing outside -0.3c and wind gusting 25mph on the coast

Can anyone still up tell me what to expect here in humble ippie? We are kinda until the shower train and have a dusting outside now? More of the same?

Hi MF, we seem to have slipped between 2 shower trains at the moment, the one to our north seems to be fading on the last couple of runs and the one to our south seems to be dropping slightly so it may be all we see if it does.

Thank you hopefully the showers will return, my net weather app has my side of town down for snow most of tomorrow?

Are we likely to see anything from this low or are we far far to north?

Glad you liked it Yamkin. So what are your latest thoughts mate, everything coming up from the south now seems to be staying south of London and spreading eastwards ?

Think were just too far North but with whats happening now theres a slight chance we could get clipped, everything is crossed.

The convergence of the convective North Sea which is pepping up further inland and the Channel Low looks like joining forces. There is so much energy on this Channel Low which is trying to move Northwards. JP mentioned a few posts up that this is not the main predicted Channel Low. This is very interesting radar watching biggrin.png

Morning all...exciting day to come, watching with interest to see how this plays out. It might be me but the system appears to be further east than predicted, remember the MO amber warning for the SW does now not appear to be in the firing line. The last hour watching the radar and agreeing with Yamkin post above, we continue to see the convergence of the North Sea energy being drawn into the system.

Light dusting so far here in Kings Hill, near maidstone. Temp hovering around 0 but feeling much colder in the wind. Nothing falling from the sky presently.

Lol typing in town name in Netweather snow risk chart and some pretty high numbers there and down for torrential snow from 6 pm. Going to be an interesting day!
