Nothing here and not expecting much.....but we've done well out of the winter's other events.

Funny to see some Met guys use the phrase...we've "missed a bullet". I suspect many on here would think instead in terms of the bouquet not being sent our way!

I think that's confirmation of certain wizzling going on! Can verify there is still wizzling here but now borderlining on actual snow!

Ha Ha , I have a job interview in Haywards Heath tomorrow, will be interesting to see the variations of snowfall on the way there and then back again, hopefully I'll be home in time for a wander up onto the hills with the dogs just as the proper snowfall sets in...time for my bed me's thinks, think I'll be wrapping up WARM on the way to the railway station !

Right, so at the moment we have Sussex wizzle and some heavier stuff over Norfolk/Suffolk.

Any reports of settling snow over E.Anglia?

Tom.

Latest BBC news forecast highlighted the Wash, Lincs area that could see some notable snowfalls.

So far had light snow showers this evening with a dusting outside at the moment. Im eagerly keeping an eye on a band of heavy snow around the Hunstanton area.

Snow stopped here now. Partly cloudy skies. Can see the stars now. A centimetre or two of snow outside. Calling it a night hoping for some more to wake up to. Rain today still says the going is good for my area.

Showers here seem to be getting a bit better over the last couple of hours, they leave a dusting each time one comes through, but it seems to melt and dry up very quickly on paths and grass, anything off ground keeps its light covering.

It looks like a two pronged attack. From the north east now, from the south west later. What are your thoughts JP ?
