Sleep time folks. If I wake up to anything at all outside my window tomorrow I will eat my hat!

Bring on the warm!

I still have A Trick Of The Tail as my screensaver at work Tom. The old woman staring into the cheval glass and seeing herself as a young girl still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Ripples never come back.

Latest BBC TV forecast was a little underwhelming if you are after reliable snowfall let alone white-out, blizzard outcomes, but not half bad for nearly the middle of March. However, I have decided that anything that falls out of the sky now is a bonus. Apart of course from a dead bird......

Actually, now I come to think about it, there are lots of other things that could fall from the sky that wouldn't be a bonus at all. Frogs. The sun (big problems if that happened). Leaflets dropped by a hostile foreign power recommending that I surrender. The iron chicken from the Clangers.

It needs to snow properly very soon so I can stop posting this sort of utter drivel.........

Looking at those last few radar grabs, those shower trains are def. starting to align more ENE/WSW.

Tom.

All lines go to Ashford International and then due south to the Rye/Hastings areasmile.png

I'm guessing I might be in a good spot for this low coming out of France?

I'm 90 meters above sea level 1 mile inland, 6 miles east of Brighton.

Any idea when this is due to get to me?

its not on the radar yet from what I can see, or not rain today anyway.

Definitely no chance of any variablly sized bluebells with this weather...

Pretty desperate stuff this waiting for a few flakes of the white stuff. Still, better than the zonal train.

Won't the outside be outside your window whatever happens? In which case you need to start marinating that hat now so it is ready for the morning!

Dusting on the car here from graupel coming from the end of the streamer into Sussex. Still above zero, 0.7ºC currently.
