Back home now in the most easterly point on Netweather, and it's quite breezy, very cold, and incredibly dry. So I will be spending the next hour drinking French Red Wine in celebration of the snow that Jersey will be getting tomorrow.

We have the lightest of snow in Strood.

Just went to a friends in lordswood and have a covering up there and snowed at varying rates yet half a mile down towards Chatham barely nothing just a ten minute drive from you too

Medway will mostly be a nothing according to meto. They had it on the money a winter so have no reason to doubt now.

Good luck and enjoy to those elsewhere. Another so close but yet so far for us here.

what do you reckon jules. We seem to be in a good spot for tomorrow/Tuesday. Can we beat January's totals?

Reckon we stand a good chance. Shame we're not getting the 2 foot we were originally forecast but maybe that was being a bit greedy

I'm not sure what it is about Lordswood, it always seems to snow better there than surrounding areas and it seems to last longer too... It's a mystery!!

to my novice eye - it looks on the 22:15 radar return that we do have an intensifying of the convection off the north sea, and it also looks like the winds are turning to a more easterly component. I would be very surprised if us Londoners don't see anything tonight... how mucgh is the question...

Lordswood and Walderslade are some of the highest points in Kent.

Could be on a late watch tonight then Steve. Btw, congrats for 10k posts!good.gif

Are you bringing out a commemorative double sided thread Steve, one side being Ode to Winter please.

NW mod threads' equivalent of Suppers Ready. Whoops showing my age there!

Cheers,

Tom.

Looking at those last few radar grabs, those shower trains are def. starting to align more ENE/WSW.
