Am i the only person thinking that a thames streamer is about to kick off?

Latest radar posted by sno shows a classic line and if they reach the thames it those showers should pep up. Winds are starting to turn more favourable for a thames streamer also.

Intresting few hours ahead now on the way back home to sw London from west London.

Quite showery now with some heavier bursts and gusty winds, settles when heavy but tends to melt again when light. 0.5c

Forget a Thames streamer... Bring on a Blackwater streamer!!! Surely that ppn is going to reach London??!!??

Oi you, no customising convergence zones please, I still havnt forgiven you. Bitter you bet!

Some beefy showers over the Yarmouth/Lowestoft area pushing WSW. Hopefully more to come. Is blobby finally dishing out the bacon?

I wouldn't mind if they both happen and they converge right over us, that'll never happen though.

I assume a blackwater streamer is good lol x

With this wind direction, yes, better for us in West London.

(EDIT: wind has really picked up in the last few minutes, all good :) )

That's south of the Blackwater - looks more like just NE of the Thames estuary.

Great GFS ensembles, click on your area and look for the precipitation at the bottom, the average tends to be quite accurate but the more high resolution operational and control (thick black or blue lines) have been showing higher at times because of that.

Streamers setting up eveywhere, if you look at Ieland there are a couple setting up in the Irish Sea, this is fascinating radar watching, those very cold uppers realy are bumping things up as they get further south.
