After the Daily Express issued their front page headline for tomorrow, 1000's flocked to netweather to find out more, hence the server overload laugh.png

I'm not giving up hope yet, the easterly will hopefully do something if all this frontal stuff doesn't.

Big downgrade on the evenings model runs for here. Perhaps a dusting / Hwavy burst Saturday morning as The system clears away.

Here is one from earlier courtesy of Netweather's premium service, "Netweather Extra" shows that the precipitation is really starting to turn to snow across Northern Ireland, the Midlands and north Wales as it makes its slow journey north eastward. Pretty much as forecasted so far.

Blue = Rain, Green = Sleet, Pink = Snow

I've just had a message from a friend in Birmingham to say heavy snow there, starting to settle smile.png

Ours shut off at precisely 00:06 every night, but the nearest lamp post has a blown bulb so I can't see anything. Has yours been off all night then?

NMM wants snowfall tonight for the home counties. May happen in the heavier precips.

They came on for an hour, and all gone off and been off ever since, ours normally go out at 00:15

Do you know what? I love snow, but I yearn for warm, balmy days.

Ihope you all get what you wish for smile.png

I once wished Kelly Brooke would steal my heart....still waiting.

Better chances the further North in this region you go. I suspect most places will see snow, its just that quite a few won't see much actually settling.

I'm certainly not building my hopes up on this one... seeing snow fall from the sky would be a bonus, let alone anything settling!

How is the packing going Tom? That is the hardest job ever, and I'm sure you've found all of the accumulated trash. Good luck smile.png

Agreed - de-cluttering needs to be a ruthless tasksmile.png

Hi Jan,

Yes were on schedule thanks, having a night off, got in late from work but it was my daughters' day off, so she managed to get quite a bit done. She made up for copping out early the other night, as I said, purposely dropped an old TV on her toe and faked bleeding from under the nail, by squirting tomato puree on it! Anything to get out of a bit of work, lightweight she is!

But where were you Nurse Jan, hope you'll respond a bit quicker if we have a family emergency, in Chislehurst! wink.png

Yes 29 years of accumulated rubbish and then some! Will be great to be back on the right side of the border and get rid of that SE tag! To keep it weather related, will be nice to get some chunkier snow depths as well and some nice trips with my two, up to Chislehurst ponds, for a spot of lunch with the ducks.

Regards,

Tom.

As you know already, but worth posting on here, keep looking forward to that moveclap.gif . The current effort and hard work will be well worthwhile and not long to go nowsmile.png . And weatherwise (to keep it topicaltongue.png ) we hope that another round of the Snow Cup is shortly possiblesmile.png

Blimey, I have just noticed I have made it past the 3000 post mark... about 2,500 of those were pre-2012 so at least I have curbed my waffling habit! gathering.giflaugh.png
