The radar's really pepping up this ppn. I think the BBC may have under-estimated this one. GFS ppn has been progging it for some time. We could well see a Thames streamer later and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a decent covering in places by the end of the night.

Here's a recent radar grab. It ties in nicely with what I'm experiencing now - persistent light snow - no big deal, but more than I was expecting earlier.

Did you know it Snowed on June 25th 1975 stopped chelmsford cricket match! so this is nothing!

That was a really rare and unusual event though. I remember it well. It even spawned that Genesis line about 'the evil of the snowflake in June' (Trick of the Tail)

Continuous light snow now in north London, with a lot more to come by the looks of things.

I have dandruff flying around, not sure it counts as a snow flurry.

Also could anyone recommend a good website I could go to in May to check the weather forecast in Italy? We're off to Lake Garda on a Eurocamp holiday, never been on one before but praying for decent weather!

Thanx all and have a good day x

This Italian Weather site will give you what you want:

http://www.ilmeteo.it/meteo/Gardone+Riviera

If that's not your location goto Comune/Localita and find a Town that is closer.

Weather unlikely to vary too much around the lake

It's actually snowing up here in Benny Hill with the wind swirling the little we have about.

People in the offices here are so bored with snow, they haven't even mentioned that it's doing so (in a small way) 18" outside from the where they sit .

MK has decided to join in on the grauple/dandruff fun - this must be some sort of record for number of days snow has fallen here - hope I'm not saying this for much longer !
