Fine snow now falling in West End. Really quite amazing how long this cold spell has persisted and very unusual too. Snow is London is quite rare in winter let alone in April.

Just got back home, and have had steady light snow all morning.

Every person I spoke to was grumbling and moaning about the weather.

It's funny isn't it, but 6 months ago we were all rushing to the window and desperately radar watching. Ah well

I wouldn't get too jealous, I'm not going to be putting my snow chains on the car just yet. A wee bit breezy though.

Just had a shower of heavy graupel, which has temporarily whitened things. Now seems to be lessening though.

We must be near neighbours, I think the trick is to pretend its January and think how pretty it is to watch the snow falling gently past the trees....

No it was hot by then the snow was in the first week of June 75.

I noticed that. I think the day was 2nd June, but also thought it might have been a slip when typing, so the 2 and 5 were both pressed. I suppose the point was pertinent, whatever, though.

well watching the snow falling past the trees will not be hard for me, i shall be taking a walk into St James' Park shortly

Wish people would stop moaning about the cold and snow. If we hadn't had any cold or snow this winter people wouldn't be happy either. It is only early spring still. I'm sure the warm weather will finally make an appearance sooner or later. Who knows we may even get a heatwave this summer. I'm sure some people will moan about that too.
