Wish people would stop moaning about the cold and snow. If we hadn't had any cold or snow this winter people wouldn't be happy either. It is only early spring still. I'm sure the warm weather will finally make an appearance sooner or later. Who knows we may even get a heatwave this summer. I'm sure some people will moan about that too.

So you're saying you've never ever moaned about the weather then? You'd be in a very tiny minority.

I noticed that. I think the day was 2nd June, but also thought it might have been a slip when typing, so the 2 and 5 were both pressed. I suppose the point was pertinent, whatever, though. smile.png

Yeah I meant 2nd glad to see your on the ball April 24th 81 was also very cold

Nice 50p size flakes here! Nice to see never the less even if it is April

I would not mind a few flakes in July for novelty sake!

well yes I have, but only about the persistent rain that we can usually guarantee in this country. to have lasting cold and snow is not that common so I don't tend to moan about that. By the way I do love the heat and sun too so not just a cold lover. Its just the incessent rain that bores me.

So moaning about persistant cold isnt allowed then? Only rain? whistling.gif

This year reminds of when I lived in Canada (with less snow of course here) but Spring used to be almost non existent, it was lots of snow to some snow then suddenly bang...Summer, would literally happen within a week usually around Mid May and that would be it until October.

moderate snow now here in sutton being driven on by a cold easterly.

Ok rant time. Snow King not sure i agree with you here. Everything in the garden and the trees are way behind, people complain cause we have now had enough. March was bone chillingly cold and naff. Most of us here are desperate for it to warm up. I am sick of the heating and on top of everything else i have a four month old and am fed up putting her in a snow suit to take her out. Snow is for winter clocks go forward and it has no point.

i am a snow lover but i draw the line here

Please let it warm up and fast as i continue to watch the snow fall

Grass covered, cars covered, concrete path covered, road / pavements nothing

dewP -4.4 C

Heavy enough snow now that it is attempting to settle, and the flakes are much bigger too!

A few flakes in the air now. The sun we had earlier has been replaced by nimbostratus
