Morning all!

Looks like another sunny one out there and maybe we are settling into a decent period of bright and warmer weather. Haven't really looked at the charts for ages so when I'm back up to full speed, I'll get a feel for the up and coming.

Morning all,

Nice here at the moment and looks like a decent week coming up, with some sun and reasonable temps and with some high pressure about.

Have a great day, all.

Regards,

Tom.

 Morning all :)

Lovely and sunny here too, with only patchy fair weather cumulus.

I was away over the weekend, in Cumbria. I noticed bluebells and daffodils growing at the same time there. I wouldn't think that was too common.

Strangely though, I've yet to see any bluebells near my location, although I've been assured a few are about - maybe the non English varieties? Definitely the obvious bluebell wood near me is showing nothing yet.

I'm mega busy at work until Wednesday, then hopefully it'll all quieten down and lead to a decent bank holiday weekend.cool.png I'm cautiously optimistic the weather will play ball.

Beautiful sunny day driving in this morning. River Thames at Kingston Bridge looked serene. Now looks pretty breezy in the trees outside the window with more cloud overhead. Hope everyone has a nice day:)

I concur with the previous few posts, it does look like a 'good' week or so coming up good.gif

Currently 9.9° here with broken cloud and a slight breeze but feeling nice in the sun.

Had an unusual visitor to the garden yesterday and he's already been back this morning with the missus.

Hoping to get a better picture at some point but for now, the Yellowhammer...

Looking like a dry week this week with a little question mark over the weekend, looks like a cold front will try to move through from the north west Saturday.

post-16390-0-92656500-1367232255_thumb.g post-16390-0-53618600-1367232441_thumb.g  post-16390-0-77889400-1367232575_thumb.p post-16390-0-82270400-1367232606_thumb.g post-16390-0-66805800-1367232723_thumb.g post-16390-0-92323900-1367232480_thumb.g

High pressure then nudges in on Sunday and Monday with temps recovering somewhat away from eastern coasts which will always be cooler with an east wind off that cold north sea but it should be dry and hopefully sunny.

As usual a while away yet and subject to change but looks like we might have to put up with a little bit of cloud and light rain (probably only 1mm) on Saturday before a drier and warmer Sunday and Monday away from eastern coasts.

Have a nice day.

Hoping for a sunny and hot BH Monday as we have the first family BBQ.

Mind you tradition normally dictates sudden downpours and storms as soon as the meat hits the grill...

Afternoon each. Nice sunny day in Ippy. I'm tired thanks to raging tinnitus keeping me awake. Had to play sound of bubbling fish tank just to get three ruddy hours.,

Have a good day everyone. :)

Sorry to hear that k, my brother-in-law suffers from it terribly and know it can be very debilitating.

Hope you have a better night, tonight.

Still sunny looking out of the office window in Croydon, lets hope its a nice bank holiday weekend.

Will be busy at work this weekend, with the first 2 classic horseraces of the flat season, the 1,000 and 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket.

Hope you're all having a nice day.

Regards,

Tom. hi.gif

I just hope the front that's due here early on Saturday morning doesn't fizzle in situ and spoil the bank holiday weekend (or at least the start) for our part of the World. Hopefully it'll depart in good time.

Thank you, Tom. It's better during the day but at night it's quite loud. I'll play some more ambient sounds tonight. :)

Morning all

A lovely morning in Reigate, pale blue skies with a little cloud over to the east, chilly at 4.2c.  Just the sort of beautiful spring day that lends itself to, oh I don't know, something like: (a) a trip to the dentist; then (b a 1.5 hour drive to the office; then (c a long conference call; then (d) a 4 and a half hour meeting in a faceless hotel to discuss 'leadership'.   It would be pretty unlucky if any of us had a day like that ahead......... !

Hope all enjoy their day

Beautiful morning here, just avoided a frost, hopefully not too many more to endure, desperate to get on with baskets and pots now. Have started putting completed baskets out during the day and bringing in at night so certainly looking forward to some warmer nights.

Lovely day here again, lawn drying out at last, birds busy nest building and collecting bugs and frog spawn changing, can see little tiny tadpole shapes now.

Mother in law visiting on Bank holiday.........any chance of it being dry in the afternoon? can't stand the thought of polite conversation in the living room for hours. She loves going out to parks/gardens etc but only when it's dry, otherwise she parks herself on the sofa and won't budge.

Morning/early afternoon all!

The lurgy is trying to make a return, so excuse my tardiness today. Looks sunny out there again today and the BBC weather last night was touting sunshine for the Bank Holiday weekend!

GFS says it starts out dry and clear, but then clouds over Saturday:

96_20.gif

The French might see a bit of electrical activity:

108_20.gif

Sunday may also be cloudy, but dry:

120_20.gif

Then those pesky French get a huge area of storms!

132_20.gif

Monday a little clearer the further South and East you go in our region:

But yet again, the French knick all our thunder (literately!)

Afternoon All,

The sun most certainly has his hat on today in London cool.png   Lovely blue skies here and the cold wind from yesterday seems to have calmed down (although not gone completely)

Hope your all out enjoying it - I'm off to a meeting for the rest of the afternoon cray.gif
