Another lovely morning. I have the dubious pleasure of helping my daughter sort out her front garden today. (I do the work, she makes the tea)

Very different morning this morning, full cloud cover, very light rain and a temp of 10.6°.

 

After the last few days, the wife is NOT happy

 

Hopefully the day and then the weekend will improve as we go on.

Yes MB, very different here, spots of rain with the trees moving in the wind and very different from last night. Fingers crossed for some more sun later and the return to those nice temperatures.

9.1c here, full cloud cover now.  Was lovely yesterday evening at the cricket club but by the finish at 8pm I was reminded that it is only just May as jackets went on and sunglasses came off.  If today is the worst the weekend has to throw at us then I can live with that!

Morning all... What a beautiful day it was yesterday. I had the day off and spent the day 'pootling' in the sunshine. Lunch in town for my birthday and a pleasant evening in the garden... Splendid!

Yes, more cloudy this morning across the region with a few spits and spots of rain.

But looks like being a fine B/H weekend in general, once we get rid of todays cloud, spots of rain.

Probably not wall-to-wall sunshine though, with some weak fronts nearby.

We may squeeze a 20c/21c out on Monday, somewhere across the region.

Morning all.

 

The weather today has been better than I was expecting yesterday, but is now clouding up.

 

I've seen there's a bluebell wood open day in Thorrington, two miles from where I live, today. Normally it would have been the optimal time, but with our late spring it's currently a waste of time. 3 or 4 days time and for the week afterwards will be ideal. I can see they're now appearing en masse, but they're not properly flowering yet.

Good morning all. Thunderstorm in the vicinity here. Very dark skies, strong gusty winds and about 10-12 rumbles of thunder heard. I would put the location in the Watford area. Any other day I would have gone chasing, but I'm meeting up with my Son and youngest Grandaughter. Bad timing !
