The 850 gfs charts haven`t been working for me all day, is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Was a very pleasant afternoon and evening here in Falmouth. It seems so much easier to get the sun out here than it does back at home. Compromises for the otherwise slightly cooler temperatures.

Need to be out of the wind today.Just been round the garden with a coffee and that wind has got a very unseasonal feel about it.

Northerlies here are a bit 50/50,you generally get sunny skies but with the cold wind.

Think it's a case of hunt out the sheltered spot.

A rather cold late May temperature of 8.1c here, accentuated by a chilly wind and squally showers.

Proper good hail shower just passing through Swindon.

Heavy, pea sized hail turning the ground white temporarily at the same time as a shining sun beamed down.

Just had a five minute hail storm here with thunder and lightning to accompany it.  As AWD has said, pea sized hail, ground white, but we didn't have the sun with it.  Very glad that I wasn't out with the dog....thank you NW radar!

Even on days with widespread shower activity like today there has been a Bristol Channel streamer moving SSE through Somerset throughout the afternoon and still ongoing this evening. Although most showers will die out tonight I predict the streamer will continue.

I'm beginning to wonder why we're on a warning? It's breezy yes, it's not problematic though. The warning ends at 18:00 so unless there's a dramatic increase in wind speed, i think the warning is a bit ott.

I think such a LOW as today positioned to being winds from a Southerly quarter to the South coast would be for more problematic than this one which is bringing N/NE winds off the land.Brightening up in West Wiltshire but looking quite stormy with fast moving lumpy black clouds of many varieties, however very little rain today with less than 1mm as the various blustery showers are moving so quickly.
