Swear I heard a couple of rumbles but the missus has got Lady Gaga blaring from the IPod so can't be sure.

Just had a grim journey back from Bristol, absolutely torrential rain with hail, wipers on full and I still couldn't see. I'd be amazed if some of the gusts don't bring trees down, it's grimly Autumnal out there.

Trees are swaying in the breeze, but it is sunny at the moment.

 

I haven't heard any rumbles of thunder here, but in the distance I have noticed some very grey clouds pass by, so may be further a field...?

I'm beginning to wonder why we're on a warning? It's breezy yes, it's not problematic though. The warning ends at 18:00 so unless there's a dramatic increase in wind speed, i think the warning is a bit ott.

I suppose it's a warning for in the showers, because as we know, it will be windier in the showers than out of!

It would be welcome if the wind really got up and blew my neighbour's tree down (2 doors down), as he refuses to chop it back, even though it's got so big it blocks out the evening light.

Colder today but still not had much rain, just 1.5 mm. Maximum was 13C after a minimum of 7C only 9.5C right now & central heating has gone on lol

Oh good god I am so sick of this weather now! Even when I was in Spain it was grim.

We even had to cancel a school trip yesterday because of the weather, this is ridiculous.  

 

We deserve a flaming June, July & August, so let's hope it happens.

I know, what a gorgeous weekend weve had. It seems absurd its going to rain tomorrow (Monday). Sunday has been one of my favourite days so far in Kernow, spending the time on Swanpool beach in Falmouth then treated myself to Rick Steins Fish and Chips for dinner and a lovely walk back home. Beautiful day.

BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY: Rain for Kernow. Sunshine for Channel Islands but clouding over later. Max 15c for Jersey.
