Thank you Tamara - you too! (I hate parking in Priory Meadow BTW)

You obviously haven't tried parking at The Stade on a busy day then Robin ! The concreted section down by the yacht club must have the smallest parking spaces in the UK. Even with a small car you can barely get a cigarette paper between them. As for the main area, until it was 'resurfaced' last winter I don't know how they had the nerve to charge for parking there. Nasa could have used it for practising their moon landings there were that many craters, often transfomed into mini boating lakes whenever it rained.

I digress. Clouding over again here and I suspect 20-21c is about as good as it will get today.

Seems us Tamara's are an 'out there' breedPosted Image  There is/was an 'It girl' called Tamara (somebody or other). Can't remember her name? Joking aside and more seriously that wannabe celeb circus would not be a lifestyle for me - too precious, generally cringy, superficial and annoying...Posted Image

That would be Palmer-Thomkinson, I think...Wouldn't want to talk about weather and climate with an airhead like that!. Netweather's Tamara is much more intelligent...Posted Image

My outdoor tasks have to wait until later today.

Funny enough, so does Mr Raven's when I nag him later this evening to cut the grass...Posted Image

If I am heading over there then I always go on foot - usually across the Country Park and down the steps of the East Hill. It makes a long hike from home but the exrercise is good of course and with some company it makes for enjoying all the wonderful views on the wayPosted Image .

I only take the car if I have a business meeting and/or go shopping. I usually combine one with the other anyway

I'm afraid this thread (or this forum!) are not appropriate places to discuss the kind of thing.... :winky:

Back to the weather and it's gone quite black here in Benny Hill and with a very oppressive feel to things after lunchtime

Business and shopping - you are truly multi-talented!

I ended up with make-up like Kiss, and barnet like Bob Marley on a bad hair day….thanks to the white van man who soaked me I arrived for my evening out with trench foot and soggy clothes and not feeling very glamorous, my date found it quite funny though !

Hmm, very humid now and I'm surprised at the darkness of the sky, I actually don't want it to rain too much for the next few hours Posted Image

Afternoon all.

Very warm here, some cloud but plenty of sunny spells. 20.9 in the shed at present.  And looking dry (for now anyway).

What if all our freebie weather stations really conceal listening devices for the American Government? Posted Image  Are we all going to have to fly to Ecuador via the transit lounge at Moscow?

As mine is in the shed all it will hear is the spiders mating and the "children" on the play area next door swearing.

They could be spies?

Well no rain coming, that's the main thing!

Afternoon :)

Up to 22.9c when I got home, clouded over a bit more now so down to 20c.

Much warmer than forecast again - are the forecasts just rubbish or are we feeling the effects of some Continental heat over spilling into our corner of the country?

Hi Lottie!

I think the cloud is acting like a blanket and keeping it locked in around us?
