A nice mottled cloud today, with a few blue bits floating about, very little wind, all the making of a nice summers days. Ideal for a picnic and strawberries and cream. So I am off to the Birmingham area to interview an engineer and get my posterior kicked because their fridge plant has broken down and we had engineers running it by hand all night. Can't beat it can you, just got to find the newspaper for my trousers.

Good Morning.

Looks like today will be a bit cloudier and even a very odd chance of a few drops of isolated rain later this afternoon in Eastern areas

I can't see it affecting Wimbledon play.

The snails have been eating my plants and veg, little ****ers. Fed up feeding them so they had to go Posted Image

Can you eat them fried in a little garlic? A bit of protein to go with your veg!

Morning, like yesterday afternoon, the models including ensembles are pointing out the 5th July onwards with a big flashing "Azores high building" light.

ECM actually builds the high in quicker before the secondary ridge builds heights just to our north but before then we get a brief but very warm and humid south westerly with low thickness and +14 uppers

That would be pretty toasty, lets hope the models keep showing this and don't either ditch the idea or continuously move it back

Been looking at that Azores high in expectation, but barely wanting to say anything in public. You've blown that now - it better come to fruition!

Hi JanPosted Image  I found a load yesterday while spending a lovely afternoon in the garden with plenty of re-potting and composting.

The odd slug as well..but thankfully nothing like as many that were around this time last year.

Better get organised to go into town.  Enjoy the sunshine everyonePosted Image

Morning All,

After yesterday's lovely weather where there was some current bun in the sky, it is disapointing that we are back with the grey cloud (well, in my little bit of the SE).

It's actually quite nippy outside this morning.  Am hoping the sun makes an appearance because I left my jacket at home thinking it would start to warm up...

Arrrgghhh. cloud is winning so far today but the heat is still there in the background with a 23.5°C showing on the new freebie!

They make a great tent if needed!

Sun is just starting to break through the clouds here - no doubt clearing just as the sun sets this evening Posted Image

Thank you Tamara - you too! (I hate parking in Priory Meadow BTW)

I parked in nearly the same place as where I got my ticket last weekPosted Image  I made sure I got back well within the alloted time - lightning wasn't going to strike twice within the space of a weekPosted Image I 'celebrated' the lack of a ticket this time by paying my fine from last week online when I got homePosted Image I know how to live on the edge and have funPosted Image Posted Image

Priory Meadow is very expensive (and I always seem to end up driving to the top of it to find a space on the rare occasions I use it) but it is harder to get fined for being late because you pay at the machine before getting to your car

Blimey......Winter draw(er)s on !!

Afternoon all. Occasional hazy sunshine and 20c here in the wild north west of London. Nothing special, but I suppose it counts as a 'useable' day for outdoor tasks.

My outdoor tasks have to wait until later today.

Seems us Tamara's are an 'out there' breedPosted Image  There is/was an 'It girl' called Tamara (somebody or other). Can't remember her name? Joking aside and more seriously that wannabe celeb circus would not be a lifestyle for me - too precious, generally cringy, superficial and annoying...Posted Image
